Linda Kim has wanted to be hairdresser ever since she was a little girl growing in Orange County. Her younger brother did not provide many opportunities to practice, so Linda performed haircuts on her Barbies until all their hair all stuck up “like it had been electrocuted.” Linda’s dedication to her craft showed when she selected to train at The Vidal Sassoon School of Hairdressing in London, one of the most renowned schools in the world. “I knew i wanted to attend ONLY the top notch school where I would be stretched to the best of my abilities.”
Upon her return from London, Linda was licensed in California and, luckily for us, found Beauty Heaven. “I was browsing through the Internet researching for job opportunities and I came across the web page. I read through literally everything and liked the philosophy/style of the salon.” Linda joined the team in the fall of 2008 as an Assistant to Creative Director, Cari Sluder. Linda continued to thrive under Cari’s tutelage and we are happy to say that she is now a full-fledged, Beauty Heaven stylist. In addition to her Sassoon training, Linda holds certifications in Great Lengths extensions and makeup artistry. We were also thrilled to find out that she is amazing with nails - particularly at nail art design – which we have now added to our list of available services.
