As a long time salon customer I imagined my ideal beauty salon experience.I pictured a place where the stylists were interested in my goals and didn’t dictate what I wanted or needed.I envisioned a salon where the staff tried out all the latest products and techniques and made dependable, insightful recommendations.
A few years ago I decided that other people might want the same thing and I made a plan. I decided to learn everything I could about cosmetology. Much to the dismay of my Mother (but with the unending support of my Husband) I gave up my lucrative consulting career, ignored my Ivy League MBA, and went to Cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell. I spent the next few years training, scouting for talented, service oriented stylists and creating Beauty Heaven.The result is a salon focused on giving our clients the best service and results in a beautiful, comfortable setting. I incorporated several conveniences such as wireless Internet access, online appointment booking, after hours appointments by request, the ability to communicate directly with our stylists and complimentary cappuccinos, lattes and diet soda. It is my idea of Heaven and I hope it will be yours too.
