Kelsey’s clients love coming to Beauty Heaven to see her and not just because of her incredible talent at hair color or her gift as a makeup artist. They come for the enthusiasm, thoughtfulness and sense of humor she brings to her work. Kelsey is a native of Southern California who resides in Coto de Caza with her family. Growing up in a house with 4 sisters gave her a lot of heads to practice on when, at age 13, she realized that she was born to be a stylist. During high school Kelsey became a popular resource for all the girls in her neighborhood who wanted their hair and makeup done for school formals. After graduating high school Kelsey attended Paul Mitchell The School in Costa Mesa with Beauty Heaven founder, Ann Merin. “We immediately bonded over our love of hair color and I saw how talented she was and how naturally she interacted with her clients.” said Ann. “She’s got a rare combination of skills that make her an amazing stylist – she’s an artist who understands how to work with and communicate with her clients. This is how she is able to produce results that always exceed expectations.”

Kelsey is proficient in several areas of hair and makeup artistry. Besides having her cosmetology license, Kelsey is a licensed and experienced Great Lengths extensionist and NovaLash eyelash extensionist. She is a certified makeup artist with a portfolio of video and still editorial work and Kelsey is particularly popular during wedding season when she gets to execute her perfect updos and display her skill at wedding makeup design.
