Cari Sluder has an approach that is rare in the world of stylists; she puts her clients first. In fact, it is Cari’s talent, commitment to excellence and dedication to customer service that served as the inspiration for the creation of Beauty Heaven.

Cari grew up in Orange County with her sister, and fellow Beauty Heaven stylist, Lisa Call. She pursued her cosmetology license right out of high school and immediately went to work in various salons around Orange County. In 2000 she discovered hair extensions and received her certification from Great Lengths.

In 2001 Cari started working with a new client, Beauty Heaven owner Ann Merin. “I had just moved to Orange County from Los Angeles and I was still struggling to find a local stylist.” See Ann’s article Finding the Right Stylist. “Cari turned out to be everything I was looking for – an amazing colorist, extension artist and stylist who produced the most consistent, fantastic results. She always collaborated with me and gave me the best service. Working with her gave me the idea to create a salon where all the stylists were like her.”

Cari has worked as a colorist and stylist in the Orange County area for the last 13 years and is one of the most experienced extension artists in California. Her extension work has been seen on ABC’s The Swan as well as countless heads in Los Angeles and Orange County (but she’ll never tell). Cari serves as Beauty Heaven’s Creative Director, overseeing extension and color training and ensuring quality control for every one of our stylists.
